Donal O’Sullivan Set to Compete in 2014 Brampton Cup

B.A.M. News (Brampton, Ontario, Canada) – Irish-born, Donal O’Sullivan, will be competing under the BAM Niagara Boxing Club banner this weekend, January 31st through February 2nd, at the 2014 Brampton Cup, held at Century Gardens.

Donal O'Sullivan - bamniagara.caThe Brampton Cup tournament is a lead-up to the 2014 Ontario Open Championships, to be held February 27th – March 2nd in Muskoka, Ontario.

This will be O’Sullivan’s first official fight, dropping weight to 152 lb upon weigh in this afternoon, Donal will be fighting in the 64 – 69 kg division. His first bout is against Mikheal Cadiz from Ajax Boxing Club.

Donal is the brother of BAM Niagara’s Paulie O’Sullivan, who won his last fight in Kitchener on November 23rd, 2013. Five years his junior, Donal, 19, is working his way up the fighting ranks here in Canada as well.

Trained by boxing coach, James Phelps, O’Sullivan has been working diligently in preparation for this weekend’s fights.
