Donal O’Sullivan Wins 2014 Brampton Cup, 64 – 69 kg Division

B.A.M. News (Brampton, Ontario, Canada) – A hearty congratulations to Donal O’Sullivan out of B.A.M. Niagara Boxing Club for winning the 2014 Brampton Cup in the 64 – 69 kg weight class.

2014 Brampton Cup - James Phelps, Donal O'Sullivan, Eric "Knuckles" Williams - bamniagara.caHeld January 31st – February 2nd at Century Gardens in Brampton, Ontario, O’Sullivan won all three of his bouts in the competition, with boxing coach, James Phelps, and assistant coach, Eric “Knuckles” Williams, in his corner. These 3 bouts were O’Sullivan’s first of his boxing career.

On Friday night @ 7:00 pm, O’Sullivan fought Mikheal Cadiz out of Ajax in the Senior Sub Novice division, winning by TKO in the 3rd round.

Saturday night’s fight was a success for O’Sullivan, who pulled out a win against Sully’s Boxing Gym’s Kyle Muratoff with a 3-0 decision.

Taiki Akimoto, also out of Sully’s Boxing Gym, was O’Sullivan’s 3rd match-up & Championship bout on Sunday, as well as his 3rd victory of the weekend, winning with a 3-0 decision.

Donal O’Sullivan will next compete in the 2014 Silver Gloves March 27th to 30th in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
