‘Sweet Pea’ O’Sullivan Wins First Bout in 2014 Silver Gloves

B.A.M. News (North York, Ontario, Canada) – On Friday, March 28th @ 1:00 pm, B.A.M. Niagara Boxing Club‘s Paulie “Sweet Pea” O’Sullivan fought his first bout in the 2014 Silver Gloves boxing tournament with a victorious result.

boxing glovesFighting against Matt McCutcheon out of Steeltown Boxing Club in Hamilton, Ontario, O’Sullivan came out on top with a 3-0 win in the 60 kg division.

A gathering of B.A.M. Niagara supporters wearing “Don’t Hate…Get in SHAPE!” T-shirts were in attendance cheering on this Irish-born fighter to victory.

Today, Saturday, March 29th @ 1:00 pm, O’Sullivan will be taking on Frederick Suen in the 2nd round of this tournament. Suen is fighting out of CYC, Cabbagetown Boxing Club out of Toronto, Ontario.

O’Sullivan has boxing coach, James Phelps, as well as assistant, Eric “Knuckles” Williams, in his corner. Thus far, they are a winning coaching combination with 2 undefeated fighters under their belts.
